Trade Voorhees:Saturday The 14th III Album review

Rating is based on 5 records
(5- classic 4.5 close classic,4 near classic,3-dope,2-keep working,1-back to the lab

Las Vegas and worldwide artist Trade Voorhees drops the third installment of his annual Saturday The 14th series. This reportedly being the last one. From the start he takes you deep into the character behind these series with the intro.Followed up by  opening cut ,the braggadocus  lyrical slaughter 'Fluci Flow'.
Trade mixes lyricism, eastcoast feel, with a touch of westcoast knock with his production.Choppy drums and thick basslines fill the audio landscape. The joint "Song High" is hypnotizing but mesmerizing with a erie Halloween theme music type bounce. The concept is broad he literally switches up subject matter in the middle of the song. You gotta" keep your mind running"... as he states. The song that introduced to the project was "Kubrik" feat Jerry Shinefeild by T.R@bb another artist haling from The Norf .A kinda of a posthumus salute and tale of two artists from Trade perspective.Abstract comparison's to the film maker Stanley Kubrick. As the snare bangs opening up the track Trade does'nt front about his lifestyle.Keeps it real and lyrical and the same time but witty with the name dropping relating to the example he's stating.True Norf shit.!Wideing  his range on "Land Of The Free" he drops social and political knowledge but in a style that keeps you intrigued with the way its delivered. If this is the last installment Trade truly grandstands going out.
The melodic boom-bap "Videodrome" feels like a New York headnod  clasic.90's type shit.Dope ass drums. Even sometime you can party to the ill"Bitches" feat Adult Education. All in all this is a classic album not mixtape. The overall sound of the album is colorful and full thick bass lines, knocking drums.dope riffs. If you looking for that next level shit stop here.Peep out "Enjoy The Show" from a performers point of view for those who don't come to get down.
