Mr.Blizzakk &DJ DFOS-WestBlokk mixtape review

Artist:Mr.Blizzakk
DJ:DJ DFOS
Label:Blakk Ragg/WestBlokk Entertainment

Rating is based on 5 records
(5- classic 4.5 close classic,4 near classic,3-dope,2-keep working,1-back to the lab

Straight of the streets of West Las Vegas comes Mr.Blizzakk  with DJ DFOS handling the hosting .Out the gate with "100 Racks" feat the Bundle Boys.Where  they team up to drop verbal jewels about settling for nothing less.Mr.Blizzakk's political pain and frustration is felt on "The Message" feat Zombie Zoo Hatin.Just imagine 2 Pac and Malcom X giving a revoultionary speech in the same room.Epic shit!!On Murder Sensation he rips thru toy MCs and anybody who wants it lyrcially.Dropping vicious venom bars.Blizzakk's style mixes a unique, passion, aggression, and street knowledge.A ode to the 90's revolutionary but gangsta Westcoast music. A la ( Ice Cube,2pac,Chuck D).However there is balance to the project which is evident on
"U Got It" which features T-Rone & Wisdom Phoenix and no appearance by Blizzakk. This is a definite radio joint.Smooth laid back peice.Make you wanna just kick it with ya girl.A cut you wouldn't  expect on the tape. That's the thing Westblokk is a overall feel & vibe  being potrayed.Also"B.B.E"(Beautiful Brown Eyes) show the diversity .Where Blizzakk exercises his thug -luv game to that special female that catches his eye.A butter hook  by T-Rone laces the track. Then there's the party and kick with females joints like "Girl Damn" feat MOBgee(Blakk Ragg Music) and J.R33Z.Rounded out the balance of tracks is "Fuk Night" makes you wanna get ya Hugh Hefner own when bumping this.
Closing out the tape is "Slave" touch backing on his conscious  tip.Refernces to a modern  slave system we in also how he's a slave to rhythm and his grind. The explosive "On Sum Pac Shit" where Blizzakk embodies the spirit of (Macaveili) .Repping the Herberts(Herbert Gerson hood) to the fullest.A cold joint to close out the tape.
WestBlokk incorporates a mixture of gangsta shit, hood laws, political views and kicking with the ladies.
A well balanced project for the streets and guaranteed to be platinum in the hood.If you wondering what happen to real gangsta shit..Look no further

J.Capital-No Alias: The Reintroduction Album review

Artist:J.Capital
Album:No Alias:The Reintroduction

Rating is based on 5 records
(5- classic 4.5 close classic,4 near classic,3-dope,2-keep working,1-back to the lab)

Upon first listening to J.Capital it's hard to put his style in a box.We haven't came across an artist with this much passion and depth in his content  and voice in awhile.Out the gate with his first official release No Alias' The ReIntroduction. The joint "Progression" tells a story of  his grinding and philosophies.Even quoting Malcom Gladwell's 10,000 hours theory. How he has put in his time in and close with reaching that mark at.His distintive voice feels like a visual verbal narration.Droping knowledge and bars for the conscious and lyrical heads.Like on the venomus "Jason Kruger" he goes for wack MCs jugler vain on this lyrcial onslaught. Also there is the feel good record"Never Change" about the upside of the hustle and the future success J.Capital sees himself having. With a live band feel production on the track.Production wise the project is solid.A wide landscape of music. Some sample based mixed with original music production. When you get to the melodic"Already Made It"  its shows off a versatile stye and delivery from J.Cap.A joint that could definitley see radio play.He theme is pretty consistent through the album grinding in this music game, uplifting ya mind and seeing success thru consistent effort. The witty "Propostion 19" is an ode to all the  smokers of that good. But not your average weed anthem.Dropping political views mixed in too.One of the standout cuts is "Find A Way" feat Dizzle and Luni-1.A culmination to the theme of the album.Speaking about tthis rap game and everday life. How cats holler about being killers and dealers but who's really be real to they self.Eack MC brings their view of the bullshit and politics.A sultry hook is laid over hard hitting drums balancing out the vibe.Dope !!The "Outro" is thanks to all he has been thru and the Lord has put his hand over him in.A fitting end .
J.Capital is a artist who used his own wit and grind with  no major team behind him to position himself to be among the elite.Don't sleep on this. His first official release but it feels like this cat has been out.His time of being a student in the game and crafting his skill is evident.
Peep his music out here
