This album is very diverse.It has something for every mood.On the Picture Perfect feat Eric Bellinger Dizzy and Eric on the chorus provide the perfect chemistry on the relationship tip.Something you can throw on for the females.As well as Never Slipped My Mind .Never forgetting love life especially while on the road .
A choice cut that can be a crossover Top 40 single is the upbeat Slow Down feat Chelle. A catchy guitar riff infused melody .Has a feel good vibe to it.
Dizzy defends his lyrical belt on cuts like Check Me Out and Keep it 100. As he states on Check Me Out "I want to show that flow has advanced".Tapping into the Nubian pride element in you is heard on Melinated Kings.Urging cats to stand up the best image of the king in you with you queen.A soca infused type groove.Upbeat groovey with a message to it.
The production throughout the album is well rounded and polished.Not stuck on one style of music.You can tell he was strategic is creating the musical backdrop.
A three head lyrical monster shows up on Grateful feat Tech 9 and Euroz. Grinding but grateful for the hate and hard times that inspires the movement to keep moving.Be grateful for where you at and what it took for you to achieve the status you gained and maintained. A tru inspiration to artists putting in the work waiting on there time.A real party favor is the 90's feel Champange Service. It gotta that bounce to it. Definitely a club banger.when the beat drops it makes you wanna do the wop,you know that 90's dance.
The sample inspired I Made Sure feat Berner and Curren$y is blueprint to how to move on your indie shit. As he watches out for the snakes in the grass"You gotta self respect if that's the way you wanna be treated" as he spits.That line is alone is one gem off the album you can you takeaway and run wit.
With the albums Dizzy has put out over his career and last few years.Overall the album is filled with confidence inspired concepts. Introspective insights ,deep narratives and then joints you can smoke and groove to.This is a body of work that has leaped artistic leaps and bounds.Bound to garner critical acclaim ,commercially and among artist peers.
